Corona del Rio

Loved the home, very spacious for everyone to sleep confortable.
I loved the layout. Especially the kitchen. We could all be close to each other and have conversations. Grandkids all raved about the pool, that is the main reason we chose this house for the slide. Only wish it had an outside shower and restroom. Beside that I still give it a 10.

This is our second year that we have stayed at this house, and we have the best time. Indoor and outdoor space is great for multiple families.

The house is set up for families to be able to enjoy and have fun. The open house concept allows for easy family interaction. The pool is amazing and just the right size to keep an eye on little ones. The backyard is set up to allow for privacy.

Wonderful house for a group. River flow was non-existent, so having a fantastic pool was a winner! Everyone enjoyed the outdoor cabana for socializing and the flow between inside and outside kept everyone connected. House itself was wonderful. Only thing I would add would be boards with lots of hooks mounted in all of the bathrooms and maybe the garage to corral all of the damp clothing and gear. Everything ended up on the floor. Also, some kind of retractable clothesline near the washer or in the garage for drying swimsuits that don't go in the dryer would be nice.

We gathered together for grandpa's birthday and had a wonderful time at Corona del Rio. The pool and slide were WOWZA! Enjoyed by all, and the entire property was so perfect for our group of 15, aged from 6 to 70 that other than an early morning run/walk by some of us, we had no need to even leave the premises for the duration of our stay. The kitchen utensils and cookware are very well stocked.

There were about 30 ladies who attend, and some little girls. We all had a blast. this was our 2nd year. Only reason it will not be our 3rd, we have 2 who drive 8 hours. Need a house closer.

Everything was perfect and thank god the weather cleared up..

I would recommend a 1/2 bathroom outside and a refrigerator and ice machine other than that it was great, we loved it

We have been going to the Frio for years now and have stayed in Heartstone before but this was by far the best time yet. The pool was amazing and kids of all ages and the adults enjoyed the slide the most. The house was so spacious inside and out! It was everything and more!

House was spacious and neighborhood was amazing. River was walking distance but having a golf cart made everything easier. Backyard was a dream from the slide to the covered patio. We must return soon!

There were 36, age from 75-3. we all had a wonderful time. The golf cart add the perfect shuttle to and from the river. All of Decided the first day to return in 2024. Thanks to Sarah for being so helpful.

The house was perfect for 30 people. The river is close by but we spent most of our time hanging out by the pool and enjoying the outdoor kitchen. The slide and spa were also a big hit.

We really enjoyed the house!

Overall we had a great experience. Management was very responsive and helpful. We had an unfortunate experience because of the drought. We couldn't float the river which is what we look forward to on these trips. There was a water shortage so each night the water was shut off at the house from 11pm - 6am. So flushing the toilets was an issue. Of course, that wasn't the fault of the home owners so I don't hold it against them. The slide was fantastic and so much fun! The only other issue is there wasn't a half bath downstairs nor an outdoor bathroom so after getting out of the pool you have to walk into someone's bedroom to get to their bathroom. It would be nice if they built an outdoor bathroom. The biggest complaint from the group was the mattresses. They are very thin and uncomfortable. We are a large group of adults over 40 so that seems to be an important feature for most of us these days. Regardless, I would still recommend this property and consider staying at it again if we ever go back to the Frio.

Overall it was a fun time spent swimming in the pool and playing games with extended family. The house was clean and cool and the pool was crystal clear.
Before arrival we were aware of potential water shutoffs due to the extreme drought conditions. We had a few water issues but the management team was wonderful in responding quickly to resolve. We will definitely rent with Frio Premier again.

The house fits our large family quite comfortably. My family travels from several states away for this now annual trip. It’s the highlight of our year. Perfect to relax and plenty of room.

We love staying here. The river was really low this year because of lack of much needed rains, but we did enjoy the pool! The rental company staff is always a pleasure to work with! They always take such very good care of us!

Great vacation home!! Beautiful. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Definitely plan on returning for another stay.

My family and I really enjoyed our time. The house was exactly what we needed for our large family. We really enjoyed the outdoor area. If I had to give any recommendations it would be to relabel the buttons for the waterslide and spa, we were confused with how to turn off/on. Also the room with the 2 queen beds made a lot of noise getting in and out. Maybe need new mattresses. Other than that, everything was very nice.

The home was perfect. We rented the home for a planning retreat for the Texas Association of School Resource Officers. This house offered ample space for meeting and relaxing in the evening. The house was clean and well stocked could not have asked for more!

Great experience, House was cleaned and well maintained. Called about AC unit and someone came out immediately and fixed it. Loved the pool and slide area, only issue is how slippery it is outside when the concrete gets wet.

We have rented several house in Concan over the years and this was by far the most fun. The house was clean and fit all our needs and the outdoor area was perfect for the kids and adults.

We had a great stay at Corona Del Rio. The slide keeps the kids entertained when not chilling at the Frio. Just wish I had booked it for the 2022 summer this past January.

The backyard was worth it. It was the best one we have had in the heart stone. The stones around the pillars were loose, more than a few lights were out, the refrigerator had multiple cracks, the mattresses need updating, and the fans need a good cleaning. Overall the stay was fun, the backyard made up for all of it.

My family and I had a great time at this home and in Concan. Best way to experience the Frio for the first time. The kids and some adults loved the slide. The only issues that came up was it got hot at night, but it is summer time. Overall great experience and stay! We will return!

We arrived to a very clean and spectacular home. The contract for the home i always spoke with was Sarah, she was very informative very helpful in every aspect! Great location and accommodations! We waited two years to try to book this home and it was worth the wait! Overall our family enjoyed it all!!! Definitely would book again!

I would highly recommend staying at the Corona. The accommodations were perfect to fit all of our family and friends. We had my husbands 50th birthday here with about 30 people. We were not on top of each and plenty of area for entertaining. The slide of course was a huge hit! Great access to the river. I have already have a ton of people ask about this place and want the info for future stay. The owner Rob was most accommodating and very nice along with the management team. This is must stay if you are looking in the Hill Country to enjoy not only the River but a placer to call home for a few days.

Beautiful home, neighborhood and scenery. The outdoor living was a huge hit! We absolutely had a great relaxing time and when we go back to the Frio, we will be staying at this home again. My one recommendation would be to replace the all the mattresses in the first floor bedrooms.

We booked this home for our annual family trip! This house was the perfect place for those young and old! Everyone had a great time and the house accommodated everything we needed. Looking to book it again in the near future!

We experienced 2 power outages but it was quickly restored and did not bother us 1 bit. The park with private river access was also great but too small for our vehicles to fit, so we know to bring a golf cart next year or at least rent one. The walk to park was beautiful and great scenery! I would say, for a house that large they need 1 more fridge but overall exceptional house! We will definitely return next year.

The only issue is the outside kitchen area is very slippery and unsafe. 3 people in our group slipped and fell. I hope the issue is fixed so no one else gets hurt. Matts with drainage holes would be great out there. Other than that the house and property is awesome! The water slide was a big hit.

Corona del Rio was the perfect river weekend home! Plenty of space, great amenities, awesome view of the hills! The house was beautiful and low maintenance which is a rare combination. As expected, the slide was the highlight! Would recommend, but many friends inquired on their own just based on the pictures!
